Dolphin Sculpture, Portsoy

Sculpture designed by local artist Carn Standing, made from anodised wire shaped as a dolphin to commemorate the Banffshire Coast, Scotland’s Dolphin Coast.

The artist relates his inspiration came from meeting a disabled woman who had camped out on the shore for several weeks in the hope of seeing a pod passing by.
